YOU ARE VERY STUBBORN.
What does it mean when men refers to their wives as being stubborn?
1. Is it to say that the wife is not submissive or does not listen to the husband?.
2. Is it that women are not supposed to think or have their own ideas but must always agree with their husbands?.
3. Is it just an attitude that has to lead to quarrel always?
First thing first, the devil is against anything that showcases the glory of GOD.
It irks him more especially when the showcase is through man, because he was displaced for rebelling against GOD and man was created with full authority over all. He is not happy with this and he has come to steal, kill and to destroy (John 10:10).
Marriage is an institution created by GOD to showcase GOD'S glory and plans for us on earth. Marriage is a similitude of heaven.
Revelation 19:7-9; Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed [are]they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Marriage is the only way God made plans for multiplication to take place; That was why GOD created both male and female and pronounced them man and wife.
You are not permitted by GOD to have sexual intercourse with anyone except your partner, GOD expected us to have godly children from marriages that will make carry on the banner of our LORD JESUS Christ.
Malachi 2:5; And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
So why is the devil against marriage? simply put, he does not want us to have godly children that will promote the gospel of our LORD JESUS Christ, the reason why we have many failures in our society today is because we have homes that were not founded on CHRIST.
If devil can make sure that children are not properly brought up, he has already messed up the generation coming from the union, he works to ensure that unions are broken because of this agenda.
Another reason why he is against marriage is because, when two agree together, there is nothing they cannot achieve as husband and wife and this will affect his kingdom adversely Matthew 18:19-20; Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Whenever people come together with one accord to pray, GOD hears and answers them quickly, the plan of the devil is to ensure that there is disunity everywhere especially in homes so that he can operate freely.
Whenever there is conflict between couples, there is room for his operation and you can now imagine when they are separated. The plan of the enemy is to mess up that institution permanently so that we can have children raised with wrong mindsets, he wants to raise systems that will make things of GOD to be ridiculed and make humans to live in disobedience to GOD.
The devil is passionate about homes and how to destroy it, we need to rise up, prayer cover our marriage and ensure that the righteousness of GOD is seen in our homes Proverbs 14:34; Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin [is] a reproach to any people.
